A A R A V
SEVEN MONTHS LATER
Seven months. Seven months since everything turned upside down, since the chaos, the blood, the betrayal, and the pain. But in these seven months, I’ve come to realize that life, despite its cruelty, has a way of finding peace again.
Suzanne Rai Singhania -my mother, is in jail now. I never thought I’d see the day when she’d be the one behind bars, but here we are. She’s paying for everything she did to Esha, to her family. For everything she took from us. My heart still struggles with the weight of what she did, but I’ve learned that nothing can undo the past. All I can do is look forward and try to make it right in whatever way I can.
Esha… I never imagined we’d be here, together like this. After everything that happened, I thought she’d pull away, that she’d distance herself from me. I thought she’d hate me for the mess my family put her through, but instead, she’s been more loving, and more understanding. It’s almost like nothing happened like she’s forgotten about the betrayal, the hurt.
She never stops surprising me.
